EXTRAS

So much is included with this homestead.  The washer and propane dryer,  a propane wall heater that was just purchased and installed a year and a half ago, the swamp cooler, the refrigerator,  a 5500 watt generator (only 2 years old!) in it's own customized storage box to keep it safe from the elements,  a 1999 Chevy Tahoe (needs a few small items but runs fine)  an emergency  shelter already in place just waiting for your personal modifications, two out buildings, a 50 x 50 barn with tack room and hay loft, a man-made concrete pond (prior owners ued it for their ducks but it could be used for farming your own small supply of fish), and more.

My favorite feature of this property and this entire area overall is the history and artifacts it holds within it's land. Over 2000 years ago according to some estimates, the Native American tribe known as the Anasazi, lived on these lands in the four corners region of North America. Evidence that points to these people is scattered all over the landscape in the Southwestern United States. On just this property alone we have collected over 1000 pottery shards in beautiful shades of red clay, grey basketweave style and ornate black on white pieces. Arrowheads have also been

found here in addition to adobe dwellings and pit house remains. The neighbors who live about 8 or so miles from here have also found similar items, including turquoise beads. You don't have to walk far before you'll start to notice little broken pieces of history littering the landscape. About 2 miles from the property there is an old canyon which supplied water to the Anasazi at one time before it dried up. On the canyon walls, petroglyphs can be seen.  What a breathtaking site. Could you imgagine what other artifacts are waiting to be dicovered?
